Espace Van Gogh

Built in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Hôtel-Dieu belongs to a period of prosperity and modernisation in the city and continued a well-established local hospital tradition. In the 19th century the hospital was enlarged after a terrible cholera epidemic. Vincent van Gogh was treated here.
