Louis Soutter

Louis Soutter was born in Morges in 1871 and died in Ballaigues, canton of Vaud, in 1942. A cousin of Le Corbusier and a violinist trained under Eugène Ysaÿe, in 1895 he turned to drawing and painting, which he studied in Paris and taught at Colorado College in the United States.
